" Mum, the loss of you in my life is like the shattering of an iceburg. I am an adult, but feel like a child who has lost her way. You were always there for me, through the tough times and the good times. You were extatic when, after years of trying to have a baby, I became pregnant at 40 and had the most beautiful baby boy. He became the apple of your eye and he adored you. We both miss you so much it hurts us both. He says he didn't have a Nan long enough and at 9 he knows the pain of loss of a loved one at too young an age. We will never forget you or stop loving you. You and Dad made me what I am and I love you for ever."
