He gave millions to charity all over the world.He was a brilliant actor and a wild funny irreverent life long democrat.He was renting a car in a US city once when then Senator Richard Nixon was also in town. He dropped the car back off and the attendant said to him Oh Mr Newman it is our day for celebrities. Later today Senator Nixon will be driving this very car. Newman quickly dashed off a note and left it in the glove box.It said Dear Senator Nixon. I am sure you and this car will get along well. Just like you it has a dodgy clutch!! lol!Vale Paul Newman.
