The key is to honour, remember and show gratitude to Canada's fallen heroes. Berating local politicians for their lack of attendance at a formal Remembrance Day ceremony does nothing to honour the sacrifices made on your behalf. If you feel attendance at the Remembrance Day ceremony is the proper thing to do then do it, but, belittling those who work for pennies to keep this city represented is petty. Did you attend out of respect or simply to make note of who was in attendance. I stayed home and remembered in silent prayer all those who have sacrificed life and limb for my freedom. How is that any less desirable then going to a monument where everyone could see me and say wow what a good man out in the rain. To me it seems a little self serving and not at all what Remembrance Day is about. Memory by Evelly Mar 21, 2015 Heh, the labels are mieanldisg so it's really year three. But I love that picture!
