John meeting King Michael of Romania. Cramele Halewood are the official suppliers to Romanias Royal House for still and sparkling wines. King Michael of Romania, a cousin of Queen Elisabeth II, will be 90 years old next week; he is the only surviving head of state from the time of the second World War, and a much respected and loved figure in Romania and worldwide. His Majesty met John on several occasions. Uploaded by Dan Muntean Oct 21, 2011

"John" First met you 40 year ago, when you first started in the trade for JB's.(I can tell a story or three!!) You lived at our home for 10 years until you moved to Leeds, Adel. Jean (my late wife)used to shout at you when you were late for dinner, your response always was just to laugh at her... They were great years.. You were a wonderful friend, during your success you never forgot me or the family. Such a shock... I will hold on to the memories and so glad I sore you and Judy only a few weeks ago. You had a big heart and a huge sense of humour, one of a kind, sadly always the best go first. Will miss you. May g-d keep you and rest in peace. I will truly miss you my best friend. My thoughts are with Judy, Adam, Mark and family" x Uploaded by Ionut Podariu Oct 20, 2011
